Davido’s ₦3 Million Gift Helps Fan Fund Life-Changing Surgery

Afrobeats icon Davido has contributed ₦3 million to help an X user, David Obadiah — popularly known as Baddy of Lagos — undergo corrective surgery for his bow legs.

Baddy, who had been seeking ₦18.3 million through crowdfunding to cover the medical costs, shared the news on his X account on Tuesday, expressing heartfelt appreciation for the unexpected generosity.

“Jesus! Davido just sent me ₦3m for my surgery. God bless you sir, my idol,” he wrote, adding that the gesture was far beyond what he could have imagined.

The Unavailable crooner is well-known for his philanthropic acts, often assisting fans by paying medical bills, covering tuition fees, and giving out financial aid.
