Former Kaduna Central senator, Shehu Sani, has cautioned ex-President Goodluck Jonathan against joining the 2027 presidential race, arguing that the current political atmosphere is far different from when Jonathan last held sway.

Speculations about Jonathan’s possible comeback have been rife, fueled by debates around the “one-term Southern presidency” narrative and the rise of a new coalition led by the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

The former lawmaker also dismissed the strength of the new coalition, describing it as lacking depth or a clear ideological direction distinct from President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
